Aloe Vera + Coconut Oil / Late Summer / Night Serum DIY

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend! Today I want to share with you a great DIY that your skin will love. August has come to an end, and it will only be a few weeks until autumn takes in, but why not use this last days of summer to freshen our skin and prepare it for the next season?
Let's get started!

What you will need:

  • Aloe Vera Leaf (You can use store bought Aloe Vera gel, but make sure it's organic and doesn't contain alcohol)
  • Organic Coconut Oil
  • Lemon (Optional)
  • Container
  • Plastic spoon
How to:

  1. First chop the Aloe Vera leaf into pieces to extract the gel. If yours is store bought then you may skip this step.
  2. .Add 1 spoon of Coconut Oil.
  3.  This step is optional, but you may add a few drops of lemon juice to help brighten and purify your skin.
  4. Mix well all ingredients with the plastic spoon. Do not use a metal spoon, for metal steals important nutrients from the ingredients.
  5. Place the mixture in a container and keep it in the refrigerator.

How to use:

This serum is better when used at night right before going to sleep.
  1. Wash your face with a cleanser. Remove all makeup and impurities.
  2. Apply the serum thoroughly and in circular movements with your fingers.
  3.  You may rinse it with cold water or go to bed and the next day wash your face.
Benefits:

Aloe Vera
  • Treats sunburn
  • Acts as a mosturizer
  • Treats acne
  • Fights aging
  • Reduces red spots
Coconut Oil
  • Protects from sun
  • Hidrates skin
  • Prevents premature aging
  • Softens skin texture
  • Acts as an antibacterial
Lemon
  • Lightens and brightens skin
  • Gets rid of oily skin
  • Deep cleanses
  • Heals acne
  • Removes blackheads

To Remember:
  • This serum has a life span of 1.5 weeks before it goes bad. It is important to use it only during that period of time and if you want to continue using it you'll need to make a new one from fresh ingredients.
  • Before using the serum test it on the back of your hand to make sure you don't have any allergic reaction to one of the ingredients.
  • If you start seeing bad results quit using the serum.

This DIY is surprisingly so easy to make and cheap! Now while I relax and pamper myself I will relax to this song by my favorite band:
